Kiwanis Clubs of Medina install new officers
LAFAYETTE TWP. — Both the Medina Breakfast Kiwanis Club and the Medina Noon Kiwanis Club had new officers installed in their respective clubs on Thursday to prepare for the start of the organization's administrative year on Oct. 1. The Medina Breakfast Kiwanis and Medina Noon Kiwanis clubs gathered at Krabill Lodge to hold a cookout and for the installation on Thursday. Sandy Elliott, who will be the incoming lieutenant governor for the 16th division of Kiwanis, attended and led the installation. Elliott is a Medina resident and a member of the Wooster Kiwanis Club. “I know you have a strong history of great service within our community,” Elliott said. “I'm looking forward to learning more about that.” As she stood in the front of the room, Elliott called each new officer up one by one to install them into their position. For each position, Elliott talked about the role’s importance and how the officer will impact their club over the next year.
